Okay, enough muddling around. It’s time for the heavy hitters from the year of 1974. And, as usual, the top ten will have you scratching your head in comparison to what’s already been featured this month. Hey, I’ve been here for nine years. You should be used to it by now. 
Remember, my personal favorites. I make no argument about “best” (which is just an opinion). Put on your dancing shoes as we get into the top ten songs that are now 50 years old.
#10: Rock the Boat - The Hues Corporation
Oh, so now they call this “disco”! 
(If you want to know the difference between “dance” and “disco”: if you like the song, it’s dance music; if not, it’s disco. )
Truthfully, I don’t care what you call it. This is a great song. I can’t believe it’s now 50 years old. However, as I’ve said about others, it’s not “old,” it’s timeless!

Ha, ha. Let's not "Rock the Boat" too much with that unique selection process of yours for picking personal favorites 
Of course, you do acknowledge that at times they are head scratchers.
I'll go with a head scratcher here, although it is a catchy tune. Just not one I'm dancing too. Guess it must be a Disco
