7 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from partly sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 68 F and breezy.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for the time I spent here today with you. I have the notifications finished, and got to see what you're up to in your part of the world.
I'm thankful I walked the trail, two sections today, the pond and wooded trails. It was enough. I have all my steps. I'll get a workout later on the foot cycle. Most likely when I get home tonight.
I'm thankful I talked to my son today about getting to the pool. He said he would work with me to get me there. I let him know when the best time would be for going, which is the noon hour. They have lap swim from 11:45 to 1. I'm hoping to get to the pool on Monday.
Okay, that's my day so far. I will work on my book now, and I have the Hymn Sing in a couple of hours.

I'm thankful for the unexpected rain storm we got today. We weren't expecting it, but I'm still thankful for it. I'm also thnkful for the mail. One or two packages came. George, so far, has spent more time outside than in. So, that's always good to see. He was also asking about things like hamburger. So we're getting there on the eating thing. Also for Chilly. He appears to be comfortable with everything. He hasn't once tried to door dart, even though George and I were both outside. Later, when I go hang out with him outside, I'll put Chilly bug up.

@just4him Yes, they are. Chilly tried to velcrow himself to me when I had to leave him in the bedroom, but that's nothing new.

I love places like what you show in your photo. I hope you make it to the pool on Monday. My pool is closed all week so I have a good excuse why I won't be there. I am grateful for sunshine and grateful that Rufus did not start a fight with Moxe.

I love the trail. I like to keep tabs on the water level in the creek. It's gone down quite a way since that photo, but it's still at a decent level.
I'm sorry your pool is closed next week. Yes, you have a good excuse for not being there.
I'm glad Rufus didn't start a fight with Moxe.
