6/11/24 - Update on My Husband

He was sore and really tired last night when I spoke with him. They worked him really hard again. He thinks he probably could do the steps coming into the house as long as he had someone on one side of him as support. Our housekeeper's husband is a big guy and could probably help us out.
I received a bill from the rehab facility. It was actually correct. I didn't have to call the Business Office!!! They took our $9,000 and $1,218 checks and applied them to the balance due. We still owed $5,202. This was for the room. I don't know if we will get another bill for physical therapy, etc.
Hopefully I will see my husband on Wednesday; and I will have him sign the appeal. Our housekeeper said she would go to the post office for me.

I am glad you will get the help you need when he comes home. I can see why he is sore because they worked him hard in a short period of time and left him alone the other part of time. They should be paying you. I am glad they got something right. I hope he can come home soon so you do not have to pay more.

Good, it seems like things re coming along. Would he be ale to come go a home visit before discharge to see how he does?

@LindaOHio I would just buy the stand up reclinwr. It is going to be slot cheaper than to keep paying the rehab bill. You could always sell the other one. Glad he is improving though. That's positive.

Not unless he can get in and out of his recliner. And if he can, he might as well come home to stay.

That's really good that your hubby thinks he'll be able to do the stairs with some help. The PT is working and he's getting stronger even if he's sore. I bet he slept good.
Wow that's amazing that you actually got the correct bill and actually don't have to call for answers.

Yes, he usually falls asleep after PT. I was so glad I didn't have to call the Business Office about the bill.
