Ohio State Trooper rescue a kitten that was on Interstate 77

A small kitten that was seen by a motorist who was driving on Interstate 77 in Clark County on Wednesday August 21 called the authorities to report the incident.
Ohio State Trooper Justin Smith answered the emergency call to rescue the kitten by using a safety net to get the kitten away from the danger zone into his squad car.
The kitten who does not have a name and what gender it is was taken by the officer to the Stark County Veterinary Emergency Clinic.
The kitten is now in the Stark County Humane Society waiting to be adopted. How did the kitten wind up on the highway was not as a result of a heartless human being dropping off the kitten on purpose.

I have had cats hiding in the engine bay of my car, perhaps this was the case here, and it just fell out onto the road, and so was lucky not to have been injured by the fall.
