I was waiting on Bob

He has a particular morning routine before he eats. He has to take his Blood Pressure for one thing.
I sat down in my chair, next to his. We both turned on our heated throws. The cat came and got comfy on my lap, and I was out like a light. I think I slept an hour. I woke up in the middle of a kind of nightmare. On the road needing car repairs and not able to get to my phone. I am glad I woke up. The sky is cloudy and overcast and that chair was just so warm and relaxing.
Bob fell asleep as well.
Now I am back up and about. I got some ham pieces out of the freezer to cook a pot of pinto beans. We will eat some, then freeze some of course. I make large batches of stuff.
My new pants set from the thrift shop feels great. We will just stay home today, I think.

I actually had to wait on George this morning to get up and take his meds. I think he was a bit faster this morning changing and getting ready for the day. I hope you get to enjoy your time home.

I always check my blood pressure in the morning too. I don't take my pill unless it's over 140

i hope the dream didn't affect your mood much. i don't like cooking in large batches, but i think it would be good because later i can just re-heat food instead of making it. i like fresh.
