Have You Ever Seen This When Filling Up At Gas Station?

When I saw this last night at the gas station, I immediately thought, "this had to be a Walmart shopper!" Too funny, right?
Seriously though, who pumps gas by putting the nozzle in a funnel to go into your gas tank?
What is the purpose? I joked with my husband and told him that the dude wanted to make sure he was getting clean gas! 
Then on another note and back to the Walmart shopper reference, why is there a new tag still on his pants?? Did he wear a new pair of pants out of the store and leave his old pants in the dressing room?
This was just one of those sights that make you go hummmm!

No. I personally haven't. I know George's pumping gass when it starts talking. But, other then that. I have never seen anything like that. Maybe he's a bit of a germophobe and doesn't want to put the nosle thing on his car?

The tag on his pants is even more questionable than the funnel. I would have the same question!!

Well my husband was just amazed at the funnel. He didn't notice the tag on the pants until I asked him to please forward the photo to me so I could post here and I asked him if he noticed the tag on the dude's pants. NOPE! Men can be unobservant!

@MarieCoyle It's weird because he was in law enforcement since we have been married, over 43 years ago. I always notice things on the highway that he doesn't. He says that he has his eyes on the road. I notice these things when I'm driving and don't have a problem with the road.

I often think women are more observant. Even my son said one day that I notice things he never notices...so maybe it's true.

He might have a leak there. Hubby had a truck that did. Never thought of doing that but it might have helped. As for the pants I agree with you

i haven't seen that, but maybe he doesn't want to get drops of it anywhere else, no idea
