12/19/24 - Update On My Husband

My husband's new phone came yesterday. I just have to set it up for him. I will see him on Sunday and on Christmas.
Today I need to find out how his appointment with the urologist went, what the cost will be for physical therapy and I must again request a copy of an invoice from October.
By now he will have been moved to the long term care wing.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts.

I'm always concerned that a move for my husband could be stressful. Got the report on the doctor's appointment.

So far I will see him on Sunday and Wednesday. I hope that doesn't change.

I already paid it with a verbal request. That's OK. Went through this with the other facility. I called the Ombudsman and got an immediate response. I can do the same again.

Being able to see him twice this week should be a boost in spirits for both of you. I'm sure he'll be happy to get the new phone and will be able to keep in touch more often.
Hope you get answers from the doctor appointment that he had.
Hope the transfer to long term care doesn't upset him.

Hopefully the move to the long term care means that it will be paid for.
Here it is, but I know that many things, especially health care related, differ from here to there.
I think that it is just wonderful that you have 2 dates lined up with him for visits.
Although I think that referring to them as dates is alot more exiciting.

We have been on self-pay since May 11 with the exception of a few days. We don't have long-term care insurance; so it's not paid for.
