Have you set your totally arbitrary MyLot goal for December 2024?

We all know it's late December, and that means one thing: another "totally arbitrary MyLot goal" post from The Great and Terrible Horse. I have not had a particularly productive month here, but I still have a chance to make payout. That will be my goal here. Anything more would require some serious cereal posting. Guitar Center shuts down early this evening, so I have only about six students today. I'm sure I will enjoy them. It is still raining here, but it is not particularly cold out. I doubt there is snow on Mt. Diablo. Or if there is, it will melt before the clouds part. Are you ready for Christmas? Have you set your totally arbitrary MyLot goal for December 2024?

I don't really set a goal in here. I went for good period of time back in the day that I got paid every month, but the last year, it's often every other month. It does make the pay month a good pay amount, so I don't mind it. I just have had a lot of demands on my time and energy, and can't plan on a lot right now.

@TheHorse I would be more satisfied if my son could be well again. I realize that to many, this is an old and tired subject, but it’s what I want. He is deserving of good health so he can have a life again. Busy? Definitely. Is it satisfying? Not until I know we have explored every option.

I'm coming up to my 2nd arbitrary goal. Didn't have much to do for Christmas; so I'm ready. However you celebrate, have a wonderful Holiday!

It was cod for dinner Sunday night, then turkey roll Monday and just some cookies today. My myLot goal for December is $1. I'm at 0.7385 at this moment.

I think it is a play on words. Look up "serial" and "cereal" in English. Both sound the same in my native language. Oh, and "har din!" if it's already morning there.

It is unlikely that I will make payout this month. One of those rare things, but I will have a good head start on January. It is what it is. I wanted to focus on other, more lucrative writing things. Plus, I burned myself out a little and needed a break. No real plans for today. We won't have our Christmas gathering until the 28th. Probably make spaghetti tonight for dinner. At least, that's the plan. Other than that, Merry Christmas to you, you cantankerous fool.

I am as ready as I will ever be...haha...I will have more wrapping to do when I get home from daughter #1's tonight to go to daughter #2's tomorrow. The man here is slow in wrapping, but he is helping! No complaints! Yes, I'm shooting for double or nothing!

No goals were set for this month. It has been a mix of some interesting sessions and some which were just so so. Since last few dates, I have found some interesting topics to discuss. It is 11:46 PM on the Christmas Day. The Christmas Eve was more exciting with Movie watch, Snacks and Tea. Yet today we had a home made Brownie and although not very great but still satisfactory. The days are turning colder. We had one day when the mercury dipped below 20 C. That might not sound much, but significant from the kind of weather we are used to here. Enjoy the Xmas day!

Yes. I have passed my first goal and am working on my second. I've had a rather productive last few months, December being more surprising. I knew November would score me some good earnings, but I'm thankful December has proved to be just as fruitful.

I had a target for the month but failed miserably. Similar to your experience, I was not active a good number of days and that has impacted my plans and earnings badly here in mylot. So there is no way I would reach my goals for the month of December. Hopefully, I can see to be active for the remaining and see what best can be achieved for this month . Payout would not be possible for next month , however I could put a solid effort for the next few days and see if it could help me reach a solid mark and perhaps could think of a better payout the following month. Christmas was ok for me and well just struggling with the expenses. Hope you had a great Christmas. Enjoy the time!

I think I’ll make payout this month, although I’m wrong more than I want to be. I’m just trying not to be melancholy. Darn emotions.

I love the idea of a "totally arbitrary MyLot goal"—it's always fun to have something to work towards, even if it's a bit whimsical! Making payout sounds like a solid goal, especially if it doesn't require the marathon of cereal posting. ??
