I love the English language. It is actually several language fused together. My ex and I used to play a game where we would open the dictionary, find an interesting word and then share it. Today I came across a word I found interesting and wanted to share it. That word is 'chimera'. It is an imaginary monster compounded of unharmonious parts. It also means an illusion or fabrication of the mind. This word was used to describe the term Trump falsely uses: Make America Great Again The picture is from

A chimera is also a person who is made up of two different people. (When a twin absorbs most of their other twin in the womb. The baby can have different DNA in different parts of their body. Like when a woman has babies but they aren't genetically related to her. It's a very odd thing to happen and very rare, too.)

That does sound odd and very interesting. I think I found that in any of the definitions I read.

@celticeagle Very odd. I read one article about a woman who had her children taken away because they weren't biologically hers. It took a lot of tests before the court would believe she gave birth to them.

No, he is creating what he wants America to be, not what the people want.

I also never heard of this before in my life. Similarly I also try to learn at least 4 words daily to increase my vocabulary.
