A property owner contacted me yesterday on the Nextdoor site. I saw a property he was trying to rent out a couple weeks ago. Well the move in date was not good for me as it was in April. So he let me know as I had asked him to contact me if he ever had anything in June and he did. The place is nice but very very far which would mean I would have to transfer some things but it is not impossible. I have to meet him on the 21st so let's go from there. He is a private owner so that is good, easier to deal with. And yes, I checked to verify this..no scams for me. Plus he approves tenants through a portal that is familiar to me, not grabbing money from people on the spot like scammers do, so another good thing in his favor. I tell you these days, one must vet potential landlords thoroughly. It's a nice cottage come townhouse, with no one up or down from the living space, and a front and back yard, and only one neighbor connected by the garage wall, that's it. I hope we can manage to get this one, the price is right and the health would improve I would think. Meantime, I am exhausted and have another appointment this morning early. So that's the news lately. Any news on your end?
