A Warning Phone Call

Early last night I heard gunshots. I wondered about it, since we had heavy rain. Then I got a phone call, warning me, that a man was shooting in our area. She said police were called, and he shot a police officer. She warned me because I live in the woods, thinking he might seek out hiding in the woods. That was scary. I'm going back to bed, I hardly slept a wink. People off the chain. See you later.

In the cities we live, we sometimes have Mad folks who can come and rob or kill in crowd.
Yet often here, more number of people and more number of cops also means more security.
I feel that while lesser population density in many parts of US is a plus, in such cases of a criminal gone loose, it also means additional risk and well it does creates panic.
I hope that you are safe and that the cops catch this mad criminal soon.

We did check, and make sure the doors were locked. It was very terrifying.

Do you have any kind of protection against invaders ?
I live in the woods myself & being all my dogs have
passed away on me I don't have any protection
other than hubby that lives in the trailer in front of
the cabin but that's no help unless I call him.
