I admit it: I love Peeps!

Easter season has the best kinds of candy, I think. I love the malted milk eggs, anything Reese, chocolate covered bunnies, the list goes on.
But my all time favorite is Peeps. I'm out in the open about it now. I used to wear a disguise in Walmart to slip a few boxes in my cart, hoping I wouldn't see anyone I know.
But now I boldly walk up to the case, take out a few boxes, and proudly add them to my cart.
Of course, they have to be the little yellow birds, no bunnies or blue birds for me.
I'm happy my husband doesn't like them (more for me.)
My grandson loves them, so we share a few guilty pleasures with a few boxes of them. In fact, I'm taking him to lunch tomorrow, maybe I can get a couple of boxes for him.
I feel so liberated now that I've declared to all of myLot my love for Peeps. And I feel no shame.

@NJChicaa I made a fruit salad today that you'd probably hate. It had mini marshmallows, mandarin orange slices, chopped celery and pecans, and a banana with mayo.

My husband loved Peeps; but they had to be stale. He would open up the plastic when he brought them home and let them go stale. My husband's 2nd cousin is also a Peeps person.

As a child I could eat tons but have not had any since, Maybe I'll include a bag in my grocery order on Saturday and see how I like them now,
