Early to bed

I felt exhausted last night and went to bed by 8 p.m. I did not even come here after work. Not only that, I stayed in bed until nearly 6 a.m. As I was finishing getting ready, and thinking about breakfast, I ate a banana. Then I began throwing up. Needless to say, I stayed home today. I even slept most of the day. I felt chilled most of the day, although the outdoor temperature is around 70 F. I feel better now, but still am chilled a bit. I am planning to go to work tomorrow though. Guess I need to look around and see what I have missed here the last two days.

Do you think you’re overworked and it’s catching up to you?

Honestly I think my student may have been sick Monday. He just acted dazed and tired and rubbed his tummy a lot and cried. He never cries.

I usually find myself going to bed early when my body tells me that enough is enough...Thankfully I don't generally get sick....just tired. Glad you are feeling better.

I work in a petrie dish of illness--a public school. I still am healthier than most of my colleagues and I am glad.

I don't think you missed much. It's been fairly quiet.

It is really odd for me to feel chilled. I am almost always warm.

@GardenGerty When the endocrinologist was overdosing me on thyroid meds, I was always freezing so I'd make up a hot bath and just soak in the tub so I'd get warm. You might try that if you're still chilled. It worked for several hours before I'd need to do that again.

I'm sorry to hear you're not well. Hopefully it is one of these one-day type ailments.
