I found a very nice photo of me and my mom in her apartment in NYC. We are sitting by my piano which I left to the family that bought my house in Latvia. I was in my early 20s and each year I would get a perm and wore these big dark tinted glasses. I looked at this photo and almost did not recognize myself. Boy, have I changed through all the years. Now I no longer want photos taken of me.

At the time, were you happy with the way you looked? That's the important thing, being happy with the way you look at the time.
I don't like people taking my picture, either. I don't feel like I look like "me". *shrug*

How nice! I used to get perms too. I've changed too. It's a gibben in life I guess.

@RasmaSandra I wanted to have perm. Ugh. But my hair gets voluminous and unruly. I only want large curls. Curling iron doesn't work for me as well. The most they stay on my hair is 30minutes

That's such a beautiful picture of you and your mom.
I remember those days of getting perms too. Some old pictures I like of myself but others not so much. I rarely have pictures taken of me now

@JudyEv and even in that photo I was thin but as a teen when I look at photos in some I think I look like a stick

@rebelann I still have lots of photo albums too but I am glad the scans I made because I like looking at photos on the PC

Wow what a cool girl!!
Mom is very chic. Two New York City Girls.
I also do not like photos taken of me now.
Especially if my head isn't shaved.
When it grows my head looks like Friar Tuck

I bet you look great.
Now me, that's a different story.
At the moment I look awful. Haven't shaved for a week. And my bikers clothing needs changed.
