The corner slice of bread is the most neglected piece of bread. I've seen several people who ignore it and throw it away. I don't mind eating it at all, except that I don't like it toasted What do you do with the corner bread slices?

That's funny, we call it the heel. I think I like "corner" better. I usually end up throwing it away.

Growing up, I always noticed my dad would take that piece of bread. He was always given that end piece himself as a child, and he got so used to it, it became a preference.

I didn't like the crusts or heels as a child, as thought it was because I'm the oldest so had to eat them. Now as an adult use them as hot dog buns and they are just the right size.

I don´t usually buy that kind of bread. When I have it, it depends on how hungry I am. If I am not interested, I turn it into a snack for Luna.

The end slices are the best part of a loaf! I eat them with lunch meat or some kind of spread on them.

@kareng Hi! I’ve actually always been around on MyLot — just not posting my own discussions much lately. I mostly pop in to read and leave comments on others' posts. Never really been away. Anyway, thanks and hope you're having a great day!

Toast it IF I am going to eat it. It's the only way I will eat it. Luckily, my wife doesn't mind those slices and makes a sandwich out of them and usually gets to them before I have to.

I eat it. The crust has the most vitamins. So I don't mind to eat the end slice. But lately, I am not buying sliced bread because I have to eat the whole thing. The last went bad, like an old science project. . . .
