Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 61 degrees F and clear here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 81. Sweet.
I woke up at 5am because of course on a Saturday morning.
I'm sure I'll nap later today. Why not?
Anyway I woke up to find a midnight text from you-know-who asking if I was awake. Nope I wasn't. Too bad for him.
The dog is here (next post about that) for the day so I won't be going anywhere. I didn't have any plans to do that anyway but she didn't bring his crate so I'm definitely not going anywhere. That's fine. I want to continue working on cleaning the carpet and cleaning out the fridge.
What's everyone else up to today?

7°C/45°F and raining... guess I'll have to do some housework today.

@MarieCoyle Especially if you avoid even starting on it.

One thing about housework—you are never completely done with it!

I know how that can be. Since my son has needed help and care, I often find myself lost in a whirlwind!

Good morning... It is 49F in my part of Missouri this morning. We have cloudy skies and a chilly wind blowing right now. The prediction is for no rain but the clouds definitely look like they could pour at any moment. Our high for today is supposed to reach 62F by late this afternoon.
We did get laundry done yesterday and are in the process of getting it all dried here at home now. (It poured on us as we came home from the laundromat so I told Pretty the clean clothes could wait to be dried until the rain stopped. No use in us getting soaked when we didn't need to.
I think we got all the errands done yesterday so we shouldn't need to go anywhere. I don't know if we'll want to go somewhere, though. It's nice to have the option again.

@NJChicaa No, we have a working dryer at home. No reason to waste more money than we need to there. (It's $5 to dry a load of clothes. I know it doesn't take that much at home. It's the same price to wash a load of clothes there. We spent $15 washing our laundry yesterday.)

@DaddyEvil OMG I could never. When I had to move my requirements were pet-friendly, AC, and washer/dryer. I'm not about to haul my laundry out somewhere at almost 50

I have had breakfast, swept a little, went to buy hubby shoestrings that he likes for his shoes. Also went to one thrift shop. I plan to sweep, mop, move plants outside and cook. Not necessarily in that order.

It’s 48 degrees here this morning. I’d really like to go back to sleep, but I need to leave to judge drama for that competition in a little more than an hour. Yesterday, I threatened to body slam a guy who was about to interrupt someone doing a recitation. He looked as if he wasn’t sure if I was kidding.

Good morning! It's evening here and 81F in our place and it's raining moderately. I did my cleaning this morning and currently checking on some working sites before going to bed.

More scenic drives! Oh, and a song by your favorite band.

@NJChicaa — well, I share your “love” for Rush, so that narrows it down further, doesn’t it?

I’ll call the fire department.

We spent the night at the BILs and have just got home. I've cleaned the litter trays, Vince has fed the guinea pigs so now we can just sit back and relax.

I was tired so I spent the day under my blanket. I managed to get an hour or two of sleep.
