Cold Day

I wore a hoodie but it was still chilly at times while we were at the auction. But I did get my moss rose and petunias today. I won't plant those yet in case it gets to cold outside for them. Right now it's easy to carry them inside if I need to.
I didn't take any pictures yet because the rain didn't stop until this evening after we went to euchre. My partner and I won 2 games and hubby and his partner won 2. So a great game night. Next week is bingo.

I'm glad you found some plants you like at the auction. I used to buy moss rose in pots and hang them from hooks at the ceiling of the porch. They look good there but I fall trying to water them if I'm not careful. (Looking up unbalances me and over I go... On the concrete porch isn't a good place to fall.)

You need to hang them lower then. Or learn to do it by feel. Concrete is never good.

@wolfgirl569 I've got the hangers up high so the wind won't catch the baskets and throw them down on the porch... Pretty used to water them for me but refuses to water anything anymore. She doesn't want to do anything outside.

It was fun. I might transplant some of the petunias into baskets as those are easy to move. That's where they will be going anyways. But I have to get some things ready for the auction Friday too. I will do those first

It was 5 days straight here. But a couple of those did have dry stretches in them. Yesterday didn't

We have plants to put out but its just during the day at the moment in case we get a frost ....that will kill them.
