A whole new level of generic

I often browse on Ebay when I’m looking for something, just in case someone happens to be selling the thing I want, especially if it’s nearby.
Today I thought I would have a look in case anyone is selling an office chair. Our lodger is quite a sturdy chap and yesterday he managed to ‘deconstruct’ the wooden chair he was using, so I thought a more sturdy metal chair might be a good idea.
I had a quick look and there is one not too far away and not too expensive, but the ‘Item description from seller’ says absolutely nothing about it.
I mean I have seen plenty of items for sale with minimal description, where the seller basically just copies (or allows Ebay to copy) the text of the heading into the ‘description’ box (and I don’t buy those things, I look for something where the seller has actually made at least a bit of effort to describe the thing they are selling!)
But in this particular case the seller didn’t even bother to go that far, instead they seem to have used (or allowed Ebay’s AI system to use) the dictionary definition of an office chair, as follows:
“A desk chair is a type of chair designed for use at a desk or table, typically in an office setting. It provides comfortable seating for extended periods of time while working or studying. This type of chair is often adjustable in height and may have wheels for ease of movement. It is a common piece of furniture found in offices and home offices to support good posture and productivity.”
I thought this was just hilarious! I mean, I know what an office chair is, thanks. I just want to know whether this one is in decent condition, whether it is adjustable, whether the adjusting mechanism and the wheels work well and all those pertinent aspects!
I have contacted the seller to ask; no reply so far.

That's one thing I don't really like when I do online shopping.

I wouldn't have even contacted the seller if that's the description they've used.
I hope you find one in your price range and it's sturdy enough for your guest.

@Fleura guess that person expects someone to buy it without any description of it's condition

My experience with office chairs is that they are not very sturdy. My two cents worth here.

Well, at least the description didn't just say 'chair'.
