Four little pigs posed for me

I managed to get a photo of the four little guinea pigs. I cleaned out their hutch this morning and gave them new bedding so they are happy little pigs tonight. They are much more vocal than I imagined and squeak and chatter away to us when they hear the back door open. They seem to expect food every time we appear.
The white one is the most tame and is called Lumi. Going from the left, the others are Hazel, Churro at the back, and Juniper. I prefer the smooth-coated ones like Juniper. The others all look like they need to ‘do their hair’. Did you get told that as a kid? Go and do your hair, my Mum would say.

Before looking at the photo I was expecting 4 little pigs - never mind (lol)
They know where their food comes from and that little chatter must be all about food.

Really cute I used to like the gerbil my son had when he was young It got out of his container once when we weren't"r home..and the cat was staring at it. Glad we got home. That could have ended badly;

@Dreamerby They are fully grown in the photos and they would just be pets, like a cat would be a pet.

They are odd little characters. We had a couple when my daughter was young. They are eaters, aren't they? I like the black one with the tuft of brown on the back.

Guinea pigs are cute. I have seen them as pets here and they eat them in Perú.

Aw, aren’t they sweet looking? I agree with you, I prefer the smooth-hair ones. The others look like they’ve been scared. 
My mom would say she was going to “fix her hair” or “get her hair done.” She’d tell me to comb mine if it needed it.

Mom would tell us we looked a mess, go do your hair! When we were still pre-teens, that would be the signal for dad to cut all our hair off. When I got my first job at 13, I wanted to go to a barber shop so I could keep my hair and not look like a cue ball. Dad griped I wasn't getting my money's worth but mom told him to leave me alone, I got it cut the way I wanted it.1 person likes this
