Pretty Flowers For My Deck

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's cool and rainy today. For once I'm happy to see the rain 
My oldest daughter gave me a huge assorted mix of flowers for Mother's Day in a big planter for my deck. They were starting to look a bit wilted and I knew I was going to have to water them but Mother Nature saved me the job.
I hate to say this but, I'm not much of a flower person. I love to look at flowers but not very good at caring for them and keeping them alive. By now you would think my daughter would know this about me so when she arrived with this huge bucket of flowers I was a bit surprised. But, maybe it's a game the family is playing and they're all betting on how long they will last
Today is my grandsons birthday (he's 20). Tomorrow is my daughters birthday but won't say how old she is 
This month is flying by and we still have my grandsons wedding next week and then my other daughters birthday at the end of the month.
Aside from all the celebrations this has turned out to be a very expensive month.
Today is just a routine say....laundry and some house chores and the never ending decision on what to make for dinner.

The flowers are very pretty and since they are in a huge planter I assume they cost a pretty penny. I'm already trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the planter when the flowers die

Twenty years old, officially out of the teen years! And the wedding is going to be so nice to attend. 
It sure is an exciting month!
Not too much going on here. I’ll be staying with my sister from Thursday to next Monday so I’m looking forward to that.

I can't believe my grandson is 20 (actually I have 3 grandsons who all turn 20 this year). 20 years ago was a busy year for babies in my house
I was so sorry to read about Hudson and his migraine. Spending time at your sisters sounds like fun..

@Marilynda1225 I think it will be fun. I’m bringing them all little tiny treats to hand out each day I’m there.
And three 20 year old grandsons is just tremendous! I love that they were so close in age growing up.

Good luck with the flowers. We have the rain here too of course. It kind of makes me want to take a nap, but I probably won't. I slept well last night and am not sleepy..plus I got up later than usual this AM.

Nothing much going on. Just bought something online. I discover a healthy and delicious snack. It's called Soyjoy bar, a nutritious snack made from whole soybean flour. Have plenty of plant-based protein and dietary fiber. Also low GI. I've tasted chocolate almond and peanut flavor. I love them.

I am not much of a flowers person either - mostly as they seem to make Yvonne sneeze.
We had a day rest today instead of going out
A holiday within a holiday.
The weather wasn't great today, not bad, but not great.
We have had an evening watching television.
May is flying by right enough.
Hope the wedding goes well and daughters birthday too.
We have had an expensive moth so far also.

I just love outdoor, or indoor flowers.
I hope that the celebrators are going to have a great birthday and year.
I hear you about this being an expensive month-I received a text message from a sister-in-law as we have a great niece having a bridal shower next month, and I had to send my donation, which was a whopping $75. But I do not think that if I went to shop on my own I could get anything for that amount, so I will not complain.

Tell your daughter she can borrow my trick for people being nosy about her age. I tell them I'm at least 21 and let it go at that.

May is busy for Birthdays. My Dad would have been 87 today. My Mom is 87 on Sunday and my Grandson is 13 on the 22nd.....how we have a grandchild that is a teenager already i don't know !

I'm not a plant person either. Our poor flower garden that we paid big bucks to have installed, is full of weeds.
