I am going to make a strawberry pie!

It"s strawberry season here in the Commonwealth, and I was just thinking I have not had a strawberry pie for a few years. I make a really easy one that uses strawberry jello. Nothing like strawberry pie with whipped cream or cool whip. Do you like strawberry pie?

@snowy22315 There's a local farm that sets up old fashioned wooden booths every year. Very ripe berries and very expensive. Fruit candy that needs nothing added.

Well for me a strawberry pie is one of life's little pleasures.
Home made pastry, short crust.
Fresh strawberry filling with a fair bit of sugar.
When colled after baking Whipped cream is added - then it goes in the fridge to set and hey presto Strawberry Pie

We live in the middle of a strawberry country.
Strawberry milkshake with fresh strawberries is another favourite of mine.
Strawberries, I do eat a lot of them

It's awesome. You may not remember Big Boy restaurants..90 percent of them are gone now, but that was their specialty.

Yes! It’s been years since I last had strawberry pie too. Most of the pies I usually eat are mango or apple pies, and sometimes egg or meat pies. Those are the ones I get to enjoy more often!
