More than I expected. My total was 92 dollars. And I only spent 19 today. So I am still ahead for the year.
.
I got 18 cucumber plants and 18 zucchini plants for a total of 12 dollars. I also got a flat of celosia flowers for 7 dollars. I didn't want that many cucumber and zucchini plants. But I will take the extras back next week. I might even make money on them if I am lucky. I planted 4 of the zucchini and 6 of the cucumber. The only vegetable I want now is some little tomatoes. Still hoping to get some more flowers too.
My friend is getting weaker. I feel so bad for her. She finally admitted that she maybe should stop driving. I have been thinking that for a couple of months now. All I could do was give her a hug.
Hope you had a good day.

OMG! I was going to ask why you'd buy so many cucumbers and zucchini. I hope you can make your money back on them next week.
I keep looking for little tomatoes but not finding any.

@wolfgirl569 All the tomatoes at Walmart greenhouses are the large type. They've sold out of the cherry tomato types. I will eat the large tomatoes but don't like them as well. I'd rather not buy those.

They sold them by the flat. It would have still cost me that much or maybe more if he sold them by the pot. I will put them in the row where they will sell by the pot.
They have had some patio tomato plants but those keep going high. I haven't seen any other cherry tomato types.

@DaddyEvil I was lucky. I found a nice cherry tomato plant at Ace Hardware. I think they will be yellow cherry tomatoes.

73 dollars is a tidy sum to be in profit for the day.
So well done on that Eva.
The cucumber plants and zucchini plants you bought were a real bargain.
I hope you do turn a profit when you take the extras back.
We bought some little tomatoes today, really sweet and very tasty.
Home from holiday, a nice drive home.
A few nice stops along the way.
8 hours approx to get home but it was good fun.
I am just happy I can still ride my bikes at my age and have the holidays we do.
So aye, it was a great.day

Total profit is about 25 with the stuff I already bought. But that means so far my garden is free.
Hubby likes to snack on the little ones.

@wolfgirl569 ........I'd rather do banana bread. Not big on zucchini. I've never heard of that type of tomato. Is it a cherry or a regular type?

She has aged so fast this past year.
They drive by here too fast to see anything and they want 10 dollars each week to set up at the farmer's market. That's too much.

So nice to see that you are earning from vegetables. I'm also an avid garden lover. And I feel such a bonding when there are talks about garden and vegetables.
Do you do all the work of transportation yourself? Do you do gardening in your home or do you have some extra space for that?

@wolfgirl569 That's great! If there is extra you take to the auction. It means whatever gardening stuff you do, you have all the vegetables etc of your own. And also the extra that you produce gives you some money. I don't think there is anything better than this. You're really really doing a very good job and I am impressed by this.
