Busy Day

We were able to get the yard mowed. I now have all of my trimming caught up. If the weather cooperates I can keep it done now.
I also got some trash bagged up. I will put that out Monday evening to be picked up Tuesday. I also started pulling weeds from the west side of the house. One patch of grass had to be dug out. But I won. I have a mum there to dig up and move.
I added a couple of more things to my to-do list again. But I moved more to the done list than I added. So I am making progress.

It's about time you did something around the house... You know it's getting bad when George complains about it. 
I've done the dishes twice today and Pretty and I made supper... Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and fried green beans. 
I still need to go in and put the leftovers in the fridge. If you hurry, you can have some, too.

@MarieCoyle That's something Pretty does a good job with but won't do it often. (Just like when she makes Cashew Chicken. She won't make it often but man! It's really good when she does make it!)

I make good fried chicken, but I rarely make it. We just don’t fry many foods anymore. The biggest objection I have about making it is no matter what it makes a big mess, and I don’t have someone like Pretty does to clean up after me. She is fortunate that you do her dishes!!

Been busy with work too. Glad that I've finished the required reports relative to the recent election. It took a lot of my time but I felt good that it's over. Have a happy weekend!

They haven't mowed the lawn; and it needs it. My flower bed is already overgrown with weeds. My house looks like some hayseed lives here. The new roof and driveway look good though.

I am happy for you that you got all that done. On my end, I did a lot of cleaning today; both laundry and cleaning the house then it rained in the afternoon and I took a nap.

Now I feel lazy. I was so exhausted today that I didn’t get a lot done. Not much sleep lately. Lots of limbs and leaves and sticks everywhere from yesterday’s high winds. So I got my yard picked up. Laundry done and cleaned out two dresser drawers. That’s it!
