We brought our motor-home up to our niece’s place when we can to house-sit. We thought we might get away for a couple of nights so this morning we’re heading north maybe to Lake Indoon which is nice place to camp. My BIL will come to feed the guinea pigs and cats.
We still have a bit of painting to do on the balustrade but that can wait till we get home. It is supposed to rain over the weekend so we need to get away now if we’re going to go at all. We will only be here a couple more weeks. I think we leave on June 3.
The photo is from a previous trip. This is Lake Ninan and we will probably camp here again one night. The yellow in the background is from canola crops. I don’t think I’ll be taking my computer so I might be missing for a few days.

I am stuck in the house and that will be my lifestyle now and forever. But I have memories to cling on to memories of travel I did to countries and countless places. Enjoy your outing.

@JudyEv we used to do a lot of tent camping when the kids were little. I think i'm over that, hotels are expensive so I figure this wold be the way to go for traveling to visit family. My oldest son & his wife are about 3 hours away with my first grandson and my mother is about 8 hours away.

@mom210 Now we're older, this suits us. We need a toilet in the middle of the night. Mostly we pay for a site and have electricity and use their showers, etc but this is working well for us. We had a caravan and 4WD but I didn't want to drive such a big unit. I don't really want to drive this either
but it only needs a car licence so if there is an emergency I can drive it.

We might be able to manage a couple of days without you as long as you and Vince are careful and enjoy yourselves while you're out camping.
I'm glad you BIL can feed the animals while you're gone.
See you when you get back.
