So, last night I stopped at the grocery store which has a pharmacy to pick up some meds. While I was there I grabbed some bananas, cat food and milk. I got up to the register, and knew I would probably get two dollars off the order, but to my surprise it was fully paid for. Woohoo! Food Lion where I mostly shop has a shop and earn program, you buy certain products and get cash back rewards you can use on your next visit. One time I got a 15.00 dollar order free. I realize that is not a lot of money, but hey, every little bit helps. Any freebies for you lately?

We had the same earn program in Switzerland, it was not a lot but at the end of the year I always cashed around $ 80.00

Yeah, in these hard times I am grateful for anything extra. It helps the store, and the consumer.

Mine was unexpected. Last Sunday l visited a meeting of a small group of church ladies - and at the end we all were offered box lunches and drinks to take home. The homemade lunch comprised of curry chicken, corn , rice and salad.

It always helps. Tractor supply gives some back after you spend so much. I got 2 bags of wood chips a couple of months ago

We have something similar where we shop. We let it build up till it's a fair amount then use it to pay for groceries.

Free is always good. I do not have anything like that here that I know of. We get fuel points and I have heard we can use them on our shopping now, but we always need the fuel points more.
