Hey, what do you know? I was piddling around on YouTube and this video came up.
This is Mark’s Feed Store, a local chain of BBQ restaurants. This particular location is my favorite place. It’s not the closest one to me, but this one is “on the way” to favorite places to visit on a lazy day (like Fort Knox or West Point, where I showed the flooding a few weeks ago).
Smoked chicken on a baked potato. That’s my go-to meal there. I love that, because it’s very filling. AND cheap: a packaged chicken-stuffed baked potato at McAlister’s is twice the price! 
(Not to mention nowhere near as tasty!) They also serve smoked turkey. If you’ve never had turkey breast cooked in a smoker, you do not know what you’re missing!

@DaddyEvil — it IS good, and those “throwed rolls” are amazing! I couldn’t eat there since I lost weight, or I’d put it back on just with the rolls!

@FourWalls Yes, in one of the small towns to the East of us. I've never been there but heard the food was good.

That sounds delicious. I am sitting here doing my think on Mylot and waiting for the kids to get home from their appointments so we can eat. Reading this is really making me hungry.

@FourWalls .......Iit sure sounds good. I haven't had BBQ in several years. We had a great place here close a few years back, but they left, and no good ones around now.

It has been a while since we have made smoked turkey. It is so good. I am glad this is close enough for you to visit on your way to other places.

I rarely go to the one that's closest to where I live, because I hate their parking lot, and their food isn't nearly as good as at the other locations.

Yeah, I feel the same way about Sonny’s. Love them but the closest one is 55 miles away.
