Happy to say, I am back to the normal routine today without needing a nap. It isn't quite as dark today as it was yesterday, so that makes a difference. I was just noticing that I am low on coffee. I have enough for tomorrow, and hopefully Thursday, but I am going to have to get to the store Thus at the latest as I am low on milk and bananas as well. I will have to try to make the coffee stretch because it is supposed to rain on Weds. but maybe it won't be all day. Decisions, Decisions..

@AmbiePam Sure, if you don't want it. That reminds me, I think I have some of that mushroom coffee left, that could help me extend it.

Good Morning, I don't know if it as dark here today as it was yesterday because I have not been outside yet. We are out of milk, need to get some. I need to get some bananas too. I have enough coffee. It depends on how much you drink coffee and how addicted to it your are as to weather it's an emergency to be low!

@snowy22315 Yes, I have a window in my room, but my room is so small and full it's hard to get over there. And I am trying to get some myLoting and crafts done at my desk so I was not walking into the living room then. Now it's raining!

It would absolutely be an emergency if I was low on coffee. I always try to have an extra on hand so that I don't have a coffee emergency. As much as I prefer a brewed pot in the morning I always have pods for the Keurig if I'm stuck.

I am not thrilled to be low on bananas. I could have got some yesterday since I bought a lime, but I was in a hurry.

@snowy22315 l don't know what is the problem, but limes here now cost an arm and a leg. Maybe that devastating hurricane Beryl in June 2024 blew away most of the lime trees.

I hunt bargains for coffee, a lot of people seem to be doing that. Also, I did get some coffee for my birthday and for Mother's Day, which helped a lot!

That's good. I got lucky the last time I bought it. The grocery here had it on sale, plus you got shopper rewards for buying it. It seems like Maxwell House is on sale frequently.

It's supposed to go up more in price, so I suppose the bargains will get harder to find. As I have said very frequently, I can live without a lot of things. I am not sure I could live without my coffee!

@snowy22315 It rained while I was in the store this morning, then let up to a drizzle so I could get the groceries inside our home. Then it rained hard again for about a half hour.

I haven't had a cup of coffee since my hubby was last home. He used to make me a cup of instant decaf in the afternoon. He'd bring me a muffin or some sort of donut, etc. to have with it. I miss that.

@snowy22315 I don't miss the coffee as much as I miss my husband bringing it to me. Meals on Wheels brings the same to everyone. You can't request anything.
