Omg I can't believe how much food we have in the house

Sitting here waiting for the rain to go off I thought that I would do another post.
Our fridge and freezer are full and so are our food cupboards.
I can't believe how much food we have in the house just now.
There is only 2 of us after all.
But I saw some quite good offers over the last few days and we did two shops.
One at Lidl
One online with Sainsbury which was delivered to us last night.
So my question is a really intrusive question
How full are your freezer, fridge and food cupboards

I wished I had some room in our freezer
Saw some bargains today I would have bought had we had some space.
So annoying
Maybe.we.should get a bigger freezer

That's what we need but we have nowhere to put it.
If we had that I would have a whole pig in it and a load.of.Venison too.

Very, I just got some more today. I am set for a good long time. However, knowing me I will want to make something that I don't have.
. Lidl is good I got a few things there last week.

Yvonne says I have covered all the bases this time
She grimaced when she saw it all arriving.
Lol
I will have to stick to what we have whether I fancy something different or not but I think I thought of everything
And we picked up a couple of extras today
Lol

I never even thought about that.
But I did think the freezer would be filled to capacity if we went on holiday again soon.
I would really freak out if it happened to us.
Spent a lot of money on the latest food shop

@Ineeddentures - My husband cannot drink milk and I am mildly intolerant, but mature cheese is lactose free, so I am fine with hard cheese.

Oh yes
A big shop coming up indeed
Will you order online and have it delivered or do it the traditional way.

@Ineeddentures We can walk 100 yards to a self-service but if we have a lot to get we'd drive. We can only carry so much. We have one of those carrier things on wheels but that doesn't really hold all that much.

We can carry some on the bikes but not enough so we pay about £1 to get it delivered.
Makes sense as it would cost £6 in fuel on the big bike

@Ineeddentures One of the best cost cutting measures I have ever used is to stock my pantry like a business would, and know exactly who has the best prices on every single item so I can plan my shops and never pay a penny more than I have to. AND if something is on sale, I can stock up and save even more.

It really does save money as one is less likely to feel the need to buy a takeaway away.

Mine are full also. There were many deals and one of my neighbors was going shopping. It was fun to shop with somebody else. I won't need to shop for a long time.

Many deals are good, of that there is no doubt and the opportunity to fill our fridges and freezers is too good to miss.
I always shop with my wife.
It might be fun if me and you went shopping

I keep a good stash of food stuff . . . we are definitely not starving. I think I have made a hobby out of finding the deals - I know you get some seriously great deals there. We are a family of 4 - and we love to eat - we try to not let any of it go to waste (but well, sometimes it does
).

You sure have a lot of food, I order groceries once a month and by the end of each month my fridge is pretty empty until I order again, Saturday will be my grocery day or as I call it party day just for me,

@Ineeddentures I live from my SS to my SS with some added passive income coming in each month I cannot afford to order more than once a month. Now if I could find an old millionaire who would worship me that would be different,

We do eat a lot of food.
Once upon a time we had no food at all and I vowed that would never be the case again.
I would like to order just once a month but for some reason it never works out like that
Party day sounds good.
Oh the cupboard in the picture got more food out in it today lol

We try not to let food go beyond the expiry date but it's difficult.
If it's only a few days out of date we eat it

Same as us lol
We do end up giving quite a lot of food away to one neighbour in particular who is struggling just a bit just now.
But this time it's all really good stuff including 2 massive Rump Steaks and a few packs of bacon and a kilo of mature cheddar as well as a few kites of milk and two dozen eggs

It shows what a big appetite I have lol.
But I am hoping this means we will not have to buy anything except maybe milk and bread for a whole month
