Stayed Dry

Even sunny at times. It was very humid when the sun was shining. We got to 75.
I did give the house some attention today. The kitchen counters got a full cleaning and rearranged on one end. I still have the other end to do. I also washed dishes again. GO ME
. That's 2 days in a row. I put the curtains away that I washed yesterday. Still have a few clothes to hang up. I did some decluttering too. I had tried to wash some of my throw pillows and they fell apart. So 3 of them went to the trash and I cleaned out the washer.
Outside I planted all of my loofa sponge gourd plants. I have the holes dug for the rest of my gourds. I put down some more weed barrier so I have less trimming to do also. I also transplanted all of the spider flowers that I am going to do too. I have a few that I will take to the auction for a friend. Hers haven't come up she said.
Possible storms through tomorrow yet. So I will decide what to do when I see what the weather is doing then. For tonight I just need to feed the chickens and put them up.

Another busy day for you. What kind of weed barrier do you use? Does it work well?

Out there it's a black cloth type. Beside the house I am trying shingles this year.

Glad to hear that you stayed dry
I always think there must be something wrong with me as I never seem to be busy compared to other people on here

It's a cloth type covering that keeps stuff from growing by covering the area

That's what I thought
We had one of those at one time..
Sadly bits got torn, weeds started growing through it and now the grass in our garden hides the membrane perfectly well.

I've washed the dishes twice and cleaned the counters once. Nothing else going on here. I was hoping to do some shopping but can't see well enough to drive. *shrug*

@wolfgirl569 I got sick this morning so we didn't go anywhere. I just woke up and ate some chicken noodle soup. I hope it settles my tummy.

It was just gray up until about an hour ago and now its pouring rain. They expect it to rain most of the week. So that will limit our outside work.

@wolfgirl569 We went outside long enough to take the dog out and smoke and came back inside. IT's gotten gray and gloomy again and it going to rain some more.

Wow! you got a lot done. Sunny days make me more willing to work. I am waiting out the morning humidity then I will mow and pull some weeds, etc.

I noticed it was dry, and I don't know how that happened. We had a golf tournament in Toledo, so it should have been raining all over Ohio today.
