Good Morning!

Good morning everyone. It's Thursday and we are up bright and early today. The sun was coming up and I couldn't go back to sleep. The hubby was waking up and we both decided to get up and get some coffee and start breakfast.
We had the alarm set for 9 am today because we didn't want to sleep late. We have an outing today, so want to get on the road at a decent time.
Our sunshine will fade quickly today around 9 am and it will be cloudy for the rest of the day. We will have some late thunderstorms coming in after 6 pm today.

I have never been an early bird. I put in my time getting up at 5 am enough years to be at work for 7:30 that I don't give a rat's @ss now what time I get up!
Besides, I get my deep sleep in between 5 am and 7:30/8:00 am according to my sleep study. So I have a good excuse!

It is currently storming here and is supposed to keep storming/raining all day. Our high is predicted to reach 74F by late this afternoon because of the storms moving through.
I took my morning meds and made scrambled eggs with diced turkey, diced sweet onions and garlic powder. They were good. Pretty didn't want any so I stuck hers in the fridge and will eat them later.

Hiya and good morning you huge city dweller lol
Do you and hubby actually agree to get up together.
We never do
It's like a competition to get an extra 5 minutes in bed every day
I do coffee and breakfast and it's done in about 3 minutes.
Cereal.
Weetabix. milk sugar and a mug of.coffee
We had sun
The day looked good
Then it was dull all day
Clouds kept the sun away

Haha on the huge city dweller. It's SO country here you would be amazed. The sidewalks roll up at 1 pm here on Saturday!!
It usually depends on who hurts less than the other as to who gets up and does coffee and/or breakfast here. Many times I get up early because I can't sleep and go have coffee in the den and get on the computer. When he can't sleep, he sits on the side of the bed and plays games on his phone. It's kind of annoying!

I am very sensitive to light and it really annoys me. I turn toward his side of the bed because the window is on my side and light is starting to come through around the slats in the blinds so turning the opposite way is the only thing to do and then I have a phone screen shining in my face. Uggg!! [em]rofl[em]
Maybe Yvonne and I should get us a fly swatter and bring to bed with us for when that happens!

I have not checked the forecast this morning, but it looks like rain. Yesterday it was only calling for clouds.

It has been a heavy downpour all the way and it is still raining 9 am is too late for me to get up. I am usually up by 4

We had a smoky haze again today. I guess it decided to hit us again, but many are affected by this, all over the place, so it's just not our area. It was warm and humid. Tonight, we may have a storm or two in the night, time will tell.

I am hoping for rain. Besides needing it badly, it will help clear the air, and cut the haze. Our air quality isn't good here.

@MarieCoyle How long are they saying it will hang around there? It has to be terrible. Please stay indoors too as much as possible.
