It's a double day at my house. It's Father's Day plus hubby's birthday.
Time to make carrot cake. I dealt with the carrots and walnuts last night. We have ground wheat flour. Just have to mess with the slurpy honey and eggs for our hippie cake. Yes! to cream cheese frosting.
Church buds are coming over this afternoon. The fun part for me will be figuring out which plates and teapot to take from the china cabinet. I might gather up some mint leaves and geranium flowers to decorate the cake.
Most important thing right now: get Fred cat up from his nap. He's pushed himself up against my arm. Silly guy.

@Ineeddentures No problems with the cake. I put cherry preserves in between the layers. There's a lot of oil in this cake so it was moist.
