I finally got strawberries at a decent price. I gave 1.50 a quart. Extremely good price. I got the watermelon for 4 dollars. I have already ate almost a quart of the strawberries. They are just too good.
We had a mix of rain and sun today. When the sun was out it was very humid. And the rains felt good. I haven't done anything outside yet. We didn't get home until after 3 today. It was almost time to fix dinner after I got the strawberries cleaned. The chickens will love eating the tops tomorrow.
I also got 3 flashlight/ tasers. I have put them up for Christmas presents. So I have a good start on that now.

They are local. People don't want the small ones so didn't bid.

I bought some beautiful red cherries yesterday, I'm guilty for eating the whole bag in bed watching tv lol

That's a great price for berries, and quite good for watermelon too.Sis bought a flat of berries when I was in PA. I don't remember how much she paid for them, but they were expensive and not that good.

They have been high here too. These are small berries with lots of flavor. Everyone wants the bigger ones and they have less flavor usually

The strawberries look delicious! 
(We threw away the first watermelon we bought this year. We both got sick after eating some of it. Pretty doesn't want to get another one, just in case.)
The flashlight/taser combos sound like fun... Are you, your hubby and the kids going to test them on each other?
