My sister called me and told me they were at ER yesterday. They were there since 2 in the morning. My nephew had tummy ache. This is the second time but this time it is on and off. He was given pain reliever and was able to go home late in the afternoon. My sister just called me a while ago and the pain he feels is still on and off. She told me the doctor told them it is an acid related disorder.
I hope whatever it is, it can be addressed soon.

At least it's more annoying then serious.

If it is acid related he needs to find something that helps. Do you have papayas there? They are good for digestion.

Well that would be true especially if he is acidic. Hope it will subside soon.

Oh no, that sounds really tough. Poor kid—on and off stomach pain can be so uncomfortable, especially for someone young. I really hope they find some relief for him soon and get a clear way to manage the acid issue. Sending my thoughts to your nephew and your whole family. It’s never easy seeing a loved one in pain, but I hope he starts feeling better very soon.

It's very worrying when a child is ill. I hope the pain goes away completely.

Hopefully now that the doctor suspects it’s acid-related, they can find the right treatment to manage it quickly. Wishing him a fast and full recovery, and hoping your sister gets some rest too.

I thought of possible gall bladder issues, but that would take some testing to discover for sure. I hope he feels better soon.

I hope they did a CBC to find out if it's not appendicitis. My son had the same pains in his tummy, and they thought it was hyperacidity. So, it was late when they finally diagnosed the condition as appendicitis. He had to be in surgery for several hours because the appendix had already burst. Sometimes, the symptoms are different, so certain lab tests must be done to rule out other pathological conditions.
