I had almost forgotten how good ripe fruit can actually be. We fold a great deal on a large assortment of fruit for only $12. There is strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, blueberries and honey dew melon. YUM! I haven't had a ripe cantaloupe in about 5 or 6 years. Each bite of this is ripe and juicy. Pure heaven on Earth. And, there's a lot of each fruit. Well worth the amount paid. What a delightful find. Have you found any good deals recently?

I'm glad you found a good deal on fruit there. We haven't seen any fruit sales in a long time. We did just buy a second watermelon this season. (We threw the first one away after we both got sick when we ate some of it.) I also bought some peaches, some nectarines and a bag of Bing cherries. (I ate a bowl of those yesterday for breakfast. YUM!).

Oh, ick. That's a bummer. My daughter just happened to see this big platter when she was picking up a prescription in the day old area. It's all good and delicious.

@celticeagle We freeze cherries. I know of a store that sells cherries for 2 dollars a pound cause I bought 18 pounds.

We have many fruit trees in our garden (plums, peach, apricots, cherries) but also strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. My father also grows watermelon and cantaloupe, I can't wait to have them ready to harvest.

When I was I child I spent my summers at my grandparents. I would make myself sick eating all the fruit.

No really good deals; but I just had 3 bananas in my grocery order last week. They were good. I like them before they get brown spots on them.

They go bad so quickly. I used to make a lot of banana bread. Not so anymore.

@celticeagle I made sure to eat them all right away. I even like them when they are a little bit green. I don't like the texture and taste when they get overripe.
