I have no idea what I am cooking tonight for Dinner.
The choices are vast
But I think I will be making the world famous Jimbo45 omelette
When I first posted it years ago it was well received and I have not changed it's format or ingredients
10 eggs, 300g of cheese, bacon, tomato and a few other things
This could give you some idea what i am talking about
It's a mega munch
How many eggs would you use in an omelette for 2 people?
And whilst we are here
What will you have for dinner tonight

@Ineeddentures Too many eggs can increase your cholesterol further I eat a boiled egg everyday and my doctor says even two are OK

Not sure how many eggs I would use for two people but 10 seems a lot.
we had almost the same as yesturday....roast beef, roast pots, cabbage, yorkies and gravy.

That’s a great looking omelette. I would probably have an accompaniment with it like chips, so it wouldn’t be as many eggs as yours. Maybe 2 or 3 per person. The thing I like about omelettes is, you can chuck lots of different things into the frying pan, then cover with egg, and hey presto! You have a tasty meal.

That's quite a few as well Raquel.
I've seen people use 2 and I'm thinking it's not a very big one at all

I've made 6-egg omelets before for my husband and a coworker. So that's 12 eggs. No onions in my omelet please. For dinner I had a turkey/Provolone sandwich with chips and some chocolate ice cream.

Onions, sometimes with cheese in the omelette I sprinkle some very finely chopped onions on at the end. I like cheese and onion combination.
12 eggs, that's awesome
Your dinner sounds excellent Linda

If I make an omelet, which I rarely do since I suck at making them, I'd probably opt for a 2 or 3 egg omelet for each one. So, that would be 4 or 6 eggs. But the omelet you describe is definitely something that would be on my list. When I order an omelet out, I usually get one like that, loaded with goodies.
99% of the time when I cook eggs, I do a loaded scrambled variety with meat, onions, peppers, sometimes mushrooms go in, it just depends. And I always add cheese as well to the mix.
For scrambled eggs for wifey and I, I typically do 8 eggs.

You have a healthy appetite for eggs as does your wife
I once asked my wife, in the infancy of our relationship
How she would likes her eggs in the morning
She was staying the night
Unfertilised she replied
