And (gasp) MALE mulberry trees know how to mess up plans. I don't know when the branch cracked in the tree. Maybe yesterday morning, but it decided this morning was a good time to fall in the way. I was going to wait until evening to start getting it cut out of the way. BUT hubby decided to do it at about 1 in the afternoon. The hottest part of the day. At least it is down now. I just need to finish moving some of it.
While the saw was outside I got the trees cut that were growing back in the chicken run. I figured I might as well get that done since my lazy day was messed up.
The picture is of my lilies out front. They get prettier each year. I should get some other colors.

@wolfgirl569 We hit a low of 66F this morning after more showers during the night.
It's getting ready to storm here and then showers again after noon.

Sorry about your tree. My orange lilies that are like those are not blooming quite yet. Maybe we should trade some of the roots when they are through blooming. We have all this rain that keeps on coming.

The reds are just starting to increase. Next year I possibly could. The whites seem to be slower.

As it didn't finish falling until it was hot waiting for evening was the smart thing this time.
Guess when hubby would sometimes decide to till the garden too

Your lilies are so pretty, Eva. I'm sure sorry you had to deal with the mess from the tree. Whenever a tree decided to do this, it never seems to be a convenient time. I'm glad there wasn't any damage.
