Couldn't Have Happened to a Nicer Guy!!!

Dear myLot friends, please celebrate some terrific news with me. Over the weekend the PPA National Invitational was held in Kingsport, Tennessee. While there, the formal announcement was made regarding who will be the 56th inductee into the PPA Hall of Fame. I was so thrilled when I learned that it's Greg Newport. That's him in the picture, taken at a tournament in Erlanger, Kentucky two years ago. And I mean it when I say it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!!! Greg is a national champion (the 2010 tournament). He is also Mister Perfect. He shot an 18 in 2016. (I'll make it easy for you, because many people hate math: there are 18 holes in a round. He got a "1" on all 18.) That's only happened three other times in Putt Putt history. He's already in the US Pro Mini Golf Association Hall of Fame (inducted in 2018). Now he has the PPA honor to add to his massive collection of titles and championships. And, let me tell you as someone who's known him for 25 years, NONE of this has gone to his head. He is a sweet gentleman, always willing to help out with shots or tips. He exemplifies the best of the great game of golf. Oh, and PS: the PPA National Invitational? He won it. Congratulations, Greg!!!
