Am I pregnant?

Is it true that pregnant people acquire odd food tastes? This afternoon, all I wanted was a "salad" made from canned beets, canned olives, and blue cheese dressing. I made said salad. It was good. Now I am having cookie dough ice cream with milk on top. Could a little colt be on the way?

No. Gas is likely though.

When I got pregnant I did not have any special wants. So I decided to change my wishes to pregnant ones. My husband never knew they were fake. Or if he knew, he accepted them.[em]happy[em]

You seem to be a lovely couple. Looks like you are going the traded way in your those days. Good that you understand each other.

@TheHorse No pickles. I was 18. But there was an ice cream with raisins and rum.

That's pretty funny. Were pickles and ice cream involved?

May be some bad eating habit. Or ab unusual routine that forced you to take odd meals. This could cause unwanted results.

@TheHorse Exactly. You need something light. Something that would be easier to digest. And waiting for a few hours should solve your issue, I believe.

No, it's not true that all pregnant women acquire odd food tastes. None of those I have known had this problem.

@TheHorse May be some women have an excuse to eat food that they are not usually allowed to eat.

@LadyDuck My male brain thought maybe it was a way for men to say "My wife is a bit nutty right now."

I do not think you are pregnant, but those are some things that are good for you. Were your beets pickled beets or straight forward canned? Black olives? Your post has made me hungry for that type of salad. A good summer blend.

Yeppers. I thought of that.I had been feasting on leftover burrito for most of the day. Regular beets, not pickled. Black olives.

lol I don't think so. I would eat the olives but I don't like beets or blue cheese! I like a broccoli salad with eggs, chicken, olives, garbanzo beans, carrots...as much crap as I can put on it with Ranch dressing maybe.

Blue cheese is my favorite. But I like a good Caesar or Vinaigrette as well.

I have had odd tastes all my life depending on what seemed tasty, As a child I drank buttermilk with strawberry shortcake,
