I Cooked This Morning...

I was really tired yesterday/last night and slept most of the night. I woke up at 4:30 am feeling like I haven't eaten in days... I went into the kitchen and broke down the 5 lbs roll of ground beef and a 2 lbs roll of premium sausage and mixed them into 1 lbs baggies for the freezer.
I kept out 1 lbs of beef and 1/2 lbs of sausage and put that into a skilled and started frying it. I added 1 small onion diced, I bell pepper diced, grated in one clove of fresh garlic, a small amount of salt and a small amount of black pepper and left that to simmer until it was cooked through. I then added broken up lasagna noodles with two cups of water, turned the heat down and put a lid on the pan... When the odor of the onions and bell peppers permeated the kitchen, I started measuring out the cheeses I like best and added them to the pan and let it simmer again for 10 minutes...
I've got a bowl of it beside me while I'm talking on myLot... It's delicious... You're welcome to come join me for breakfast if you're hungry, too.

I really enjoyed it. It made enough for five meals... I ate it once a day until it was gone. Pretty wasn't interested.

@DaddyEvil I can eat like that every day. Easy. Simple and delicious. Lately, I cook for my son and granddaughters and they like a bit more variety.

@noni1959 I don't want the same meal all the time but I didn't want that to go to waste, either. We bought some chicken fries from Walmart that are really good. I use a tablespoon of mayo and a squirt of ketchup mixed together as a dipping sauce for the chicken. That's really good. I also steam broccoli for a side and have packages of steamed mixed veggies that I really like, too.

I'm often not hungry but must eat after I take my morning meds or I will get sick after taking the meds. That morning I was very hungry, too.
Thanks.

Mmm. That does sound good. I make a dish some what like that but add macaroni to it. I can't remember the last time I bought ground beef. Maybe this fall I will buy some and make that. It's even better the second day.

Sounds really delicious to me, I just got my grocery order yesterday so I have bacon, eggs, and sausages and looks like I will make a Monday breakfast, I like to pop two eggs into my electric skillet and scramble them right in the skillet and add shredded cheddar cheese.

That sounds delicious!
I often make scrambled eggs but I add diced onions, diced bell peppers and some type of meat diced up into the eggs. I really enjoy them that way.

I remember bubble and squeak! Mom used to make that for us on the farm! I love cooked cabbage and mom would chop up bacon and cook in the pan first and then add the potatoes and cabbage on the cooked bacon bits... YUM!
You're welcome. I hope you enjoy your breakfast.

@DaddyEvil Bubble and squeak definitely needs cabbage but we didn't have any this morning. We had leftover roast vegies. It was still nice but it's better with cabbage.

Thank you. I always make enough for her to share it with me. Usually, the only times she doesn't eat what I make is if I cook eggs or if I cook broccoli.
