His Tooth Broke

My poor husband broke the bottom part of one of his upper front teeth when he was a teenager. He was swimming and somehow hit it on the concrete pool. It was repaired and lasted until yesterday. I guess after nearly 50 years it had worn out. The good news is that it doesn’t hurt. I need to call our dentist in the morning. Why do these things always happen on the weekend.

That is a long time for dental work to last. I'm glad it doesn't hurt!

Poor hubby, that could happen to me too. I have a filling on the bottom part of a tooth I broke in the bathtub when I was around 10 or 11..long story

Murphy’s law: anything bad that can happen will happen on a holiday or a weekend.
I did that, too. They capped it in the Navy. The cap is still there after 46 years.

Well done for keeping it so long. My Grandson broken his front tooth and had it repaired about three times before it finally was repaired properly ….its lasted about three years so far.
Hope you hubby got his fixed okay.

Sorry to learn that your husband's tooth fell out after 50 years after being repaired after he was in a pool accident as a teenager.

It seems like the week for dental problems. I hope your hubby can get into the dentist. I have a root canal tooth that's infected, I have a filling that's fallen out twice; and I need a cleaning.

It will be good to see the dentist, because there might be some underlying decay that weakened it. I hope not. I am glad it does not hurt. 50 years is a good run.

I think his name is Murphy??
I hope your dentist can see him today and do something about it.
