I thought the doctor was just having the one enzyme checked but the did a whole liver panel. And everything looks perfect.
The standards for the lipase are different since it is not for a clinical trial, they do not have to be as low. They are down to about half of what they were when the panels were run in June, though. That was very good.
Other than this hot weather, I am feeling very good.

I had a day or two when I was "off" in May. So it may have been worse then.

@GardenGerty .......It certainly is. The liver is a very interesting organ. It is the only one that can regenerate itself.

I certainly did not want more tests or more medicines.

So thankful the liver panel turned out great!!!
And I’m with you on the weather. We might have a drought thanks to all the water I’ve been drinking this week.

I am making an old fashioned concoction that is supposed to quench like gatorade. It is called a "shrub". You boil fruits in vinegar and sugar, strain and bottle it up, and add a spoonful or two to each glass of water. It will be tasty at least.

@GardenGerty -- there was a pitcher who had cramps and they brought him some pickle juice. That makes sense: it's vinegar and salt.

Yes, it is worrisome to be told that the numbers say "you are sick".

I feel like all the pills I have tried since December have contributed to the problems I have. Glad to be done with them.

I imagine this problem stems back to the medicines they had me take the first part of the year. Not taking them any more.
