I have one of those to place in the window, but I have had it for years, and it is beat to Hell and back It won't"t stay in place now. The new one should be here Monday and was pretty cheap on Amazon. Do you ever use a windshield sun shield in your car?

As hot as it is there? Why the heck not?

@snowy22315 I just get in and blast the air. It’s always hot no matter what I do so I’d rather not mess with it. No one in my family has one either, although my late grandmother did.
Although, if my interior were black, I’d definitely get one. Definitely.

@AmbiePam Keeps you from getting a blast of heat when you first get in, so you don't practically burn yourself in the interior

This was not something I preferred, but it is cheap and should work

@snowy22315 - The one I bought is too big and unpleasant at the touch.

I use both. You use the sun shield when the car is parked

@snowy22315 Ah I see. for most of the cars in Singapore, either they will not have it put up or that they will have those customised sliver reflector sun shield put up to reduce the heat of the car.

I have two of those sunscreen thingies I put up when the car's parked at home during the summer or when we park at a business when we're away from home. I bought them for our last car and just moved them into this car when we sold the other one. They have a silver side to reflect heat back out of the windshield.

@snowy22315 I bought the ones we have because they're cloth and fold into a small circle when they aren't being used in the windshield. I like them.

I don't have a car.
If I did I might use one.
Or I might not
I don't know

Do you cover your bike if it's raining hard?

Just now
I do, but we get lazy and do not. I even put one in the west window of my office sometimes, and it helps with the heat.

Both my windshield and sun shield are in the showrooms
I have never used one.

I did use one back in the day when I worked and my car was parked in the sun. Now it's in the garage so a sunshade is rarely needed.
Glad you found a new one on Amazon

They're common here. Without them, you'd be battling to hold the steering wheel some days.
