Pedro will get to meet the vet on Friday. He will have a check up, flea treatment and shots.. If he is healthy enough he will also be neutered. He can stay for the weekend.
He stayed out last night. I want to curb those inclinations. I want him home in the house every night.
He particularly likes Bob and will come curl up in his lap. He and Bruno get on okay. Bruno is still a mama's cat and that is okay.
I am mowing a bit this morning. Bob went to a library out of town. When he comes home we will have breakfast for lunch.

Maybe neutering will make him more of a home cat Heather
It will gradually reduce his inclination to seek out females which I think they do during the night
Breakfast for lunch is us lol as we are never on the go at breakfast time as such

I am up by five, or six at the latest and eat then. Bob eats a small breakfast, like a sausage patty and toast around ten. I had some hash I wanted to use so when he got back I scrambled some eggs and added some mushrooms and spinach, and we had the hash then.

It's good that the two get a long. Hopefully all that needs done at vets can be accomplished. My daughter worries about the one younger male cat of the cats we have here. He likes to stay outside most of the time.

I worry that Pedro may not be as healthy as I would like and I do not want him to make Bruno sick, or give him fleas.

I opened the door one morning for Bruno to go out and this young male black and white cat insisted on coming in. He has been in and out for a little over a week now, so I think he is mine. Or Bob's.

We were already at 88F this morning when I woke up... It's too hot with the high humidity to go out and mow. I'll wait until it's cooler outside to worry about the grass.

Pedro has it easy, and I will make sure he is healthy. His head looks too big for his body, so I imagine he is malnourished and needs to catch up.

@GardenGerty I hope he is healthy... And yeah, he needs to see a vet so he isn't leaving kids all over the place. We don't need more stray cats around.

It's just too hot to mow here...heat index is way over 100 and it's beyond miserable outside. I feel so sorry for people who are working outside all day in this horrible heat.

I only did a little mowing. By the time the grass is dry enough the sun is just too hot.

@MarieCoyle I do not know if I like the extra moisture or not. It sure makes the grass grow. I remember one summer when we were over 100 for 41 days in a row.

It's been a long time since we had so many days of this high humidity and horrible heat. I know a lot of people here just didn't mow this past week. It's hard on a person to be that hot for very long.

I hope so too. Sometimes I think he looks a little funny, like swollen around his eyes, but it may just be his coloring, or the heat. He does not seem to have any trouble seeing.
