My only obstacle

Bruno is my only obstacle to using the computer. He wants to always be with me if he is inside. That is why the laptop was nice, as I could move it out of his way.
He is on my desk, between the keyboard and tower. At times his body over laps and he lays on the number keys. He saw me trying to take a picture, so this is the best of what I got.
I cleaned yesterday and made space for him to be by the window, but he would rather be by me. I have the mouse in my lap on a mousepad because he lays on it. Or if I get it out from under him he reaches out a paw to hold my hand.
It is early Sunday morning, and I need to make myself some breakfast. Today will be our coolest day during this cool off time. By Thursday we will be back to the mid 90's

I remember back when I had cats, they would always lay on the keyboard every time I needed to use the computer. It's really interesting, cats are very independent and want to be left alone, but when you try to leave them alone to focus on other things, they all of a sudden want attention.

Because of his size Bruno is worse than any other cat I have had. I think Pedro may grow up to be a big boy as well.

@moffittjc Bruno was big when my sister got him from the shelter. He is sedentary this year, and I think he is gaining again. He lost weight the first year I had him. Pedro feels like solid muscle.

Today is our coolest day this week, too. We'll be back in the mid-90s again by Wednesday.

I am glad too. It is not Windows 11, but it is comfortable. I will get the laptop back running before we take another out of town trip.

Yes, he does. And if he does not like what I am doing he just lays on it. Winter will be fun, we will have heated blankets, and cats.

You know I am thinking of getting ready for another cat in September but now you give me pause, My workroom does not have a door that closes and I don't know how a new cat might react around my PC and laptop.

Laptops are easier, because you can pick it up and move it. Even my keyboard, I just pull out the desk drawer and rest it there. It is hard to have a pet, but also hard not to.

He is very loyal. Sometimes he gets his tail run over by the rolling chair, though, sleeping too close to it.

Bruno sounds like mama;s kitty for sure. If it is cold, Nico sits on my chest while I do my laptopping. He knows just how to sit so he doesn't cover the keyboard.

My cat Doodlebug is always on my computer desk. I have a "wireless" keyboard that runs on batteries and a USB port. The keyboard locks so I have to lock the keyboard every time he is in here so he won't type anything. He gets on my lap, but he won't stay on my lap.
