Happy Thursday Everyone! a bright and sunny summer day here in my little corner of the myLot world.
The lawn crew is here so it's a loud start to the morning. Since there are approximately 100 homes here in my community there are multiple guys riding mowers around.
Since I was up fairly early, I already ran a quick vacuum and got the dusting done.
I have a decent size bookshelf in my dining room and in addition to books I have a few candles, knick knacks and photos on the shelves. It doesn't look cluttered (just my opinion) but when it comes time to dust it is a pain There are times when I just dust around everything but today I took everything off the shelves and got them nice and clean.
My house gets exceptionally dusty from the central air conditioning (and heat)
I'm glad that chore is done and now I can enjoy my coffee and chat without that nagging at the back of my head.

Not sure what I'll be up to but thinking I might cut a couple tall rose branches that keep waving at me when I'm on the computer... very distracting, I think there's someone out there.

I have to go pick up some medicine today. For some inexplicable reason the doctor's office and pharmacywas closed and didn't reopen until this morning. They were there too, the medical staff or office staff I saw their cars. I know they have a staff meeting on Weds. but they usually re open in the afternoon.

Dusting sure can be a pain. That's for sure. I had one of the cats get up on a shelf the other night and he dusted for me while he was there.

I find the same issue with the a/c and the dust here.
And the dust almost seems dirty to me, which is strange because we change the furnace filters twice a year.
I worked today, Grandpa went to our son's to change a light fixture, change the taps in the kitchen and do a little cleaning up of a couple of holes that were left in the bathroom after they changed the mirror.

@Marilynda1225 He loves helping out like that, he learned those skills as a teenager from his older brothers. I am sure that I worked harder.

We change our furnace filter often too but dust is always everywhere it seems. Such a pain

Nothing happening here. We were talking about making a trip to Walmart to pick up some supplements I normally take and doing a little yard work today but my eyes swelled up and I can't see more than a few feet away so I'll stay in the house instead.

I don't dust as often either
I cut way down on my knick knacks. I used to have lots of Hummels but now they're packed up and in my closet. I hate to part with them but also hate to dust them so it's a no win. I inherited most of them from my mom.

@Marilynda1225 My collectible Beswick horses are somewhat valuable but neither son will be able to take them and there are no other reliatives that are interested in them. I'm going to try to sell them at auction rather than have them go to an op shop. The boys could use any extra money they might bring. Hummel ornaments are really lovely.

Went to Marion, got a shirt for back to school. Worked outside, ate lunch, napped a little. Moved some cookbooks. Not a lot of any thing.
