Front Range Sunset

While I could watch the sunset from my hotel window, it’s not clean. So, I took a walk to the end of the road to watch it without any obstruction.
Aren’t you glad that I did?
Walking up there, all I could do was sing that praise song “How Great Is Our God.”

Are there Chuy's in CO? There should be, weed is legal there.

Don’t know, didn’t check. Spent much of the day in traffic, but as beautiful as the scenery is, I didn’t care!

That's a gorgeous picture. Thank you for sharing. We stayed in Longmont, Colorado for two years. We enjoyed the view of Rocky mountain from our balcony every morning.

I’m glad you did, too—the view must have been so much better without that window in the way. There’s something about a sunset that makes you stop, breathe, and just take it all in, and it sounds like this one was worth the short walk. I can almost picture you there in Limon, Colorado, with that praise song in your heart as the sky lit up in colors. What a beautiful way to end the day! We needed that kind of ending-of-day scenario. I wish we could kind of do that too someday.

And then I turned around, and there were storm clouds to the east, but the sunset was reflecting off part of them. It was wonderful.
