My cruise to Maine and Canada is coming up, and I’m getting excited. You might remember due to my back injury and health problems I can’t go far. I’ve been to 33 states, Mexico several times, Australia, and New Zealand. The majority of those trips were before my accident.
I’ll also be real; I want to get away from my problems for awhile, as we all do sometimes. So we’re going to Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia. I’m most excited about Maine and Prince Edward Island (thank you Anne of Green Gables). We’re just going to explore Maine on our own, but have excursions planned for all three Canadian ports.
I also took a peek at the menu for every night in the dining room. I’m already wishing my appetite wasn’t so small lately.
Amyra is my cabin mate so that will be enjoyable as well.
A lot of you are not cruise people and have made that clear. But if you were, what would you like best? I’m also looking forward to the onboard entertainment. Wish I could afford the spa!
P. S. The ducks you got me, girl, will be so fun to hide!

On your trip, probably Nova Scotia as it would be fascinating to see the Titanic graveyard. I hope that is a side trip option.

@AmbiePam I guess they would.t go there for a side trip unless you were parked there all day or something

You will have a wonderful trip, for so many reason.
You will have a nice break from the heat and humidity, you will enjoy time with your family and Amyra, the excitement of the change of scenery, the flavours of the foods that you will be exposed to as well as the culture at your stops.
It sounds so rich.
We want to visit the east coast in a couple of years, I hope that you are able to sample the local seafood, they claim it delicious.

On the trips Pretty and I used to take, I enjoyed the food most of all but, spending time with her was always fun, too.
I hope you have a good time with your family.

I have never taken a cruise but this sounds right up my alley. Good food, good company and good times. Why is your appetite so small. I have noticed on @LindaO's posts you do not eat much.

We looked for moose in Maine until our eyes ached. If you see one, I will be so jealous. I'm not a cruiser; but I think I would enjoy the amazing variety of foods onboard. I hope you have a marvelous time.
