It’s been raining non-stop in Mumbai since yesterday and now there’s a red alert issued for tomorrow. Roads are already waterlogged in some areas. How’s the weather where you are? Do you also get heavy rains like this? Pic courtesy : Google

I wish we could get some of that rain. Ugh! We haven't had any real rain fall this season. A few drops every month or so. I'm sorry you have to put up with so much.

@celticeagle Its been 5 days and the rains have not stopped. We are on red alert yesterday and today. With non stop rains, high tide dont know what will happen.

We are surrounded by sea three sides and that's the reason why we have water logging. All the greenery has been cut down and skyscrapers come in its place so there is no way for the water to go and it gets flooded always.

@mayka123 Every monsoon Mumbai faces excess rain and flooding. The government should take an action to resolve things before the monsoon so that people may not face problems.

Yes there is flooding here and rains have not stopped. Schools and colleges are shut. We are on red alert yesterday and today. So no respite from rains today too.

Here, it rained a lot in Delhi and surrounding areas on Thursday 14th Aug. Some areas got inundated. Newspapers and Media showed pictures about badly flooded and inundated roads. To be honest : Our cities are not able to cope with so much of rains. And many people suffer a lot.

It was raining here two weeks ago. Even today some parts of Luzon are still flooded. It's because of the flood control system that were corrupted. Even the President who visited the place was completely disappointed. we even had rise of leptospirosis cases because most of them got into the flood.

We have been getting rain almost daily in the last two months. But luckily that heavy rain phase is over here. Monsoon mayhem is there all over India. Flood, cloud burst, landslides....the news of all natural disasters are there from many states.
