Thinking ahead

Next Thursday and Friday won't be dull days. Or maybe they will be? Hubby happens to be blind. Fine. When we were younger it never meant that much to either of us. Now we are doing what every body does. We are aging. Hubby has a friend in the bigger city to the north of us. That guy also is without sight. Hubby has invited him for a one night stay over so they can get in a good chat. My his friend loves to chat. Both guys also have big hearing issues- so we will have to figure where each can sit so their good ear is in the correct direction! I hope friend can manage the concrete outer stairs- his apartment is up a stairway. Our guest bedroom is near the wooden staircase so if he needs the bathroom during the night he will need to remember NOT to turn to the left. My hubby had some issues when we first moved here with being sure not to boom down the stairs. Friend likes animals so hoping Rufus is not too jumping rough for the fella. I'm still thinking how all this is going to go down. Hubby may want to take him to the backyard swing. And on they go.....
