Throw it all this way, please!

I’m not shy. So, I’m not beating around the bush here… Today looked fairly promising. Son had two appointments, we were up and ready and out the door ahead of time. Appointment #1, fast and good, we had a chunk of time before appointment #2. Son said he wanted to see his sister. They were home, so we went to their house. We were having coffee and visiting and he started feeling really bad, so here we are, at the hospital again. His pain levels were off the charts and so was his BP…this is his third admission in three weeks. I am doing my very best to remain as positive as I possibly can. He needs that and so do I. He made the comment that he felt like he was kicked by an elephant…and I hurt so much for him. What am I doing, typing this and telling all of you the problems of the day? I am asking for you to pray if you do prayers and/or think good and positive thoughts if that’s what you do. I reached out to some family members and friends and now I am asking you…I am hoping with a lot of people power thinking or praying for him he will improve. You don’t even have to respond if you don’t know what to say or think I’m crazy. At this point in time, maybe I am. But this is my son, he is a good Christian man and he deserves better. Thank you. I just can’t express to anyone how important it is that he be surrounded by a circle of whatever good you can throw this way in thoughts and prayers.

Your love and strength as a parent shine so clearly in what you shared. I can only imagine how exhausting and heartbreaking it must be to see your son in pain, especially after going through multiple hospital admissions in such a short time. The way you continue to stay strong and positive for him, despite how heavy this must feel for you, is truly admirable. He is blessed to have you by his side, advocating for him and surrounding him with unwavering love. Please know that your request is heard—whether through prayers or positive thoughts, many hearts will be with you and your son. Sometimes, just knowing there are people out there holding him in their thoughts can help lighten the load a little. I sincerely hope his pain eases soon and that the doctors can help him find comfort and healing. Stay strong, and remember that you don’t have to carry this burden alone—you’ve got a circle of care around you, near and far.

I counted up the times he’s been hospitalized this year, this makes #10. I told son that was enough and his comment to that was, yes,it is and I want out of here. Of course, he always wants out of there, I certainly would. I thank you for you kind and beautiful words!

I can perfectly understand what happens is that you needed to externalize in some way everything that you were feeling as a mother and sometimes it happens to me sometimes I try to externalize it because I don't want to Discuss my concerns with people around me. I don't know if I'm right with what I'm telling you, but between the good vibes and the prayers, you feel more accompanied.Don't lose faith, fight for your child and, above all, if you can, don't be stuck with a diagnosis when he gets better.I suggest he get a checkup and seek other medical advice. That's very important. My prayers and best wishes for your son.

He has been under the care of several specialists for some time. He has a blood disorder, and add in the fact that he was in a horrible car/semi truck accident, he has had many repair surgeries from that. Thank you so much.

@MarieCoyle They have to take care of her because I imagine she suffered some contusion. If there is a hematoma, she will have to be monitored for her blood disorder problem. I will do a follow-up and I hope your mother-in-law is doing well in the next few days. It's also a blessing to have such a concerned daughter-in-law.

@YuleimaVzla It’s my son who is sick. No hematoma, his blood disorder is rather rare. His body simply doesn’t make enough blood to sustain him, he has regular blood transfusions.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s incredibly tough to see your son in pain, especially with everything he’s been through in such a short amount of time. You’re doing an amazing job by staying strong for him, even when the situation feels so overwhelming. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way for healing and strength—for both of you. I hope he finds relief soon, and that you both feel surrounded by love and support. Your son is lucky to have such a dedicated mom by his side. Stay strong!

You know I pray for him (and you) daily. I hate that he’s suffering, and that you’re suffering as a good mother would along with him.

It makes me so sad to know that your son suffers and of course you also suffer for him and for everything you have to endure to help him. Be assured of my good and positive thoughts. I believe in power thinking. Be strong, he will feel better.
